π§Έ MONDAY, July 13, 6:00-7:00 pm β¨Stuffie Slideshow and Pick-up. Stuffie owners: If you want, wear your pajamas when you pick up your stuffie! Watch a slideshow of everything those critters got up to the night before! (If you can’t come at this time, come any time Tuesday or later. The slideshow will be posted on the website after this event.)

π TUESDAY, July 14, 10:30 am. Story Time with Miss Judy is becoming READ WITH CONVERSE CREW! Several of the Crew (age10-12) will be at the library to read one-on-one (or in small groups) with your child. Best for ages 3-8. The CC is really excited about this! Please attend if you can.

π¦ π WEDNESDAY, July 15, 5:30-7 pm. Family Night: Pasta Paleontology! Come as a family and/or a group of neighbors or friends. We'll make two-dimensional dinosaurs from pasta shapes glued to paper and learn a few fun facts along the way. π¬ THURSDAY, July 16, 12 noon. SRP26 MOVIE: Ice Age (2002; 1hr, 20 min; PG). Manny the mammoth, Sid the loquacious sloth, and Diego the saber-toothed tiger go on a comical quest to return a human baby to his father across a world on the brink of an ice age. Please accompany children under 7. We will serve snacks and water. Children may also bring their own snacks or lunch and covered drinks. Pick-up is around 1:30.

π¬ THURSDAY, July 16, 3 pm. MOVIES FOR GROWN-UPS (MGups): The Boys in the Boat (2023; 2 hrs, 3 min; PG-13). A 1930s-set story centered on the University of Washington's rowing team, from their Depression-era beginnings. Based on the book of the same name. Snacks and water will be available. Feel free to bring your own, too!

π TUESDAY, July 21, 7 pm. Gentle Reads Book Group. We're reading The Bookshop of the Broken Hearted, by Robert Hillman, this month. Copies to borrow are available at the front desk. All are welcome to participate. The GRBG will take a break in August and soon we'll announce the new booklist for September 2026-July 2027.
