Jean Gerber: Big and Small, Inks to Oils Jean Gerber lives and paints in a small off-grid cabin in Thetford, Vermont. Sketching outdoors has been a pastime since childhood camping trips. In college she began painting in oils. While still painting in oils she also enjoys the use of inks, watercolors, and graphite to capture a more immediate sketching quality in her work.
